About your teacher
Pat Anslow Fellow I.D.T.A. Ballroom Branch (HC). L.I.S.T.D. (Ballroom & Latin American Branches). A.I.S.T.D. (Sequence Branch). Pat holds the Fellowship qualification of the Ballroom Branch of the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). She also holds a Licentiate qualification with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) in both the Ballroom and Latin American Branches. She also holds an Associate qualification in the Sequence Branch of the ISTD. As an amateur, Pat danced from age 8, working her way through the medal grades to the top award. With her partner, Pat competition danced from age 11, winning many trophies attaining Championship class. Amongst her achievements, Pat appeared on BBC TV`s original Come Dancing programme, dancing for the West Midlands, also dancing in the grand finals of a Butlin`s National Competition at the Royal Albert Hall. As a professional teacher, Pat taught Ballroom and Latin American Dancing at local colleges for Adult Education from January 2002. She then opened her own dancing school “Dance with Pat Anslow” in September 2008. |
